Privacy notice
This draft describes how Fourfold intends to handle personal information. It is not the final notice for a public service.
Information you provide
Fourfold may receive account details from your chosen sign-in service, your age eligibility response, profile settings, puzzles, tags, reactions, follows, reports, and private feedback. We also record play activity needed for ratings, history, abuse prevention, and resuming unfinished games.
How information is used
We use information to operate accounts, show the game, calculate ratings and community quality, personalize discovery choices, protect the community, answer requests, and improve Fourfold. AI-assisted improvement uses private written feedback only with separate permission.
What is public
A public profile may show a handle, aggregate playing statistics, creator reputation, and published puzzles. Detailed play history, follower lists, report details, and private feedback are not public. Profiles for players aged 16–17 are private and pseudonymous by default, and a sign-in service's name or photo is not automatically copied to the public profile.
Sharing and retention
Fourfold may share limited information with services that provide sign-in, hosting, storage, safety, analytics, or optional AI features. We do not sell sensitive personal information. Final retention periods and a complete service-provider list will appear in the operative notice.
Your choices
Account settings will provide access to profile privacy, structure-spoiler preferences, AI-feedback consent, and account export. Automatic account deletion is not available yet; the prototype does not schedule erasure. Withdrawing AI-feedback consent stops future use of that feedback. Legal retention or security needs may delay deletion of limited records.
Age and contact
Fourfold is intended for people aged 16 or older. Final operator details, contact channels, effective date, regional privacy rights, and request instructions will be added after legal review and before public use.
