Reporting a puzzle

Reports are private, reviewed by people, and reserved for safety, rights, and serious community-standard concerns.

What to report

Report targeted threats, harassment, hateful content, sexual exploitation, doxxing, instructions for serious wrongdoing, spam, plagiarism, illegal content, or another serious violation of our community standards. A puzzle that simply did not work for you belongs in the ordinary feedback form instead.

What to include

Choose the closest reason and add private context only when it helps a reviewer understand the risk. Do not repost harmful material unnecessarily. Copyright owners and their representatives should use the process described in our copyright guide.

What happens next

Reports about credible targeted threats can remove a puzzle from play while a trained reviewer investigates. Other reports are prioritized by urgency, supporting detail, and repeated signals. Automated tools may help sort reports, but a person makes removal and appeal decisions.

Urgent danger and appeals

If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services; a Fourfold report is not an emergency channel. Creators can challenge a moderation decision through the appeals process.
