Counsel-review draft
Moderation appeals
A creator can ask a different reviewer to reconsider a puzzle or account decision.
How to appeal
Identify the decision, explain why you believe it should change, and share relevant context or evidence without unnecessarily reposting harmful material. Appeals are private. Repeated identical appeals may be limited.
Independent review
Whenever practical, someone who did not make the original decision reviews the policy, evidence, severity, and treatment of similar cases. Fourfold records the outcome and gives the creator a plain-language reason.
Possible outcomes
The reviewer may uphold, narrow, reverse, or replace the original action. Restored puzzles return only when doing so is safe and lawful.
Safety during an appeal
Material involving a credible targeted threat or another urgent danger remains unavailable while the appeal is reviewed. An appeal does not replace contacting local emergency services when someone may be in immediate danger.
